I know some of you guys mess around with a lot different things and cover a wide range of topics besides mini trks. I need help with this one. I assume it was used in manufacturing or tooling 100 yrs. ago. I have found a few smaller motors by CW that were used to run a fan but none this size. Manufacture Crocker Wheeler, Pat. Date May 5 1891, Size 1, 155v, 8 amps. wt. appox. 300lbs. This motor looks complete. I'm pretty sure it would work if hooked up. Ive spent hrs. trying to find this exact motor and nothing. Thanks for any HELP, :frustration:

A little more research and digging tells the story of it being a voltage regulator used the telegraph systems back in the day.
