I got a new toy a few weeks back, its been taking up most of my time. 1984 Toyota Land cruiser diesel. Ive been covered in dirt, grease, and oil ever since. Im even starting to get a tan from all the welding =D things Ive done to it so far: 1. desludge the engine 2. clean engine bay 3. repack/grease the birfield joints 4. set the alignment 5. replace the stearing ball joints 6. all new fluids 7. cut out rust holes and weld plates into the frame 8. piss off my wife for being in the garrage 24x7 9. keep working on it anyways 10. install 2m/440 ham radio 11. install cb radio 12. install 6 port 12v powerpole fuse block (b/c its a 24v vehicle) 13. new filters stuff i found so far 1. about 7 yen in aluminum coins 2. the obligitory flare was missing =( 3. tons of air soft pellets 4. a couple of speakers under the seat 5. a gold plated cat doing the fist in the air thing (small trinket) 6. some hand gun shooting association button 7. electrical wires running all over that went no where
thanks! its been a joy to work on. However the folks ive run into around town are another story... kinda makes me want to gouge my eyes out in protest of man's foolish stupidity, but that really doesnt help anything now does it...
