Well I actually tested and had power to that fuse box and checked both fuses and they both looked good. Called g&r and steve said check again and sure as heck the closer I looked one was blown at bottom. So now we will see. This should explain why I tested no power to fuses under the dash! Always learning! Wish didn't have to sell this mini. Love it but wife says need a jeep.
Whoever buys this mini will be getting a darn good deAl!! Makes me sick to sell. Just got a black line plow and only used 2 times and will be going with it. Grrr
Well, you gott'a do, what you gott'a do. BUT, these "see-through-to-test" type fuses...ain't worth a dam. You got to put a test light on to them. PWR to ground. You either got light, or you don't. One side to the other. I've had fuses that I'd swear were fine, but they would not pass feed to the system. Replace, all's good. Keep a hand full in the glove compartment. Of course, you have to figure this stuff all out first. Now, it'll be a Jeep; good luck with that...op:
I hear ya there. Ya I'm afraid the jeep will be more of a money pit than this mini has been but wife wants something she can drive too so we will see. I will say I would recommend a mini to anyone!!! Love this thing. Handy as heck for hunting and many other things!!
Yea, but if that's what she wants, then just do it; nu'ff said. Give some guy a good deal. Who knows, you may be able to make a direct trade, with the plow and all; you know? Craigs...KIJIJI, maybe...
Yep! One thing about it these mini trucks tend to hole their value. It's listed on the good ol Craig's **** as of today. What would u ask for a 95 mini with 35k miles. Lifted, camo paint, atv wheels and tires, tool box, and black line plow? This thing has been as reliable as my f150. Suggestions? Also have front and rear numbers with receiver hitch on both.
I feel you, sometimes you gott'a do something that you don't really want to. You gott'a find someone in the same spot, but opposite; Here, start you off; http://cars.yakaz.com/trade-jeep-for-atv#lo=4&docid=0007kmcegg7ch548 ...
I changed my alternator without disconnecting the battery and blew my main fuse in a box attached to the battery harness at the back of thebattery. I was a 60 amp fuse and it blew on the side instead of under the viewing window. $5.05 for a plug in replacement at Parts Source. Rob
