I'm not just being lazy. I've done the "search" feature here and there's a lot of information. I've decided on Camoplast tracks, the UTV version. There are a number of variations available, depending on the make/model of UTV that is being used to source the tracks for my mini truck. THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!

MY local dealer has no idea what model would most easily adapt to my mini truck. I've tried to buy from one of our site sponsors, but we just don't seem to be able to make contact with each other. No doubt he knows what I need, but at some time I have to give up trying to buy them from him. I really have tried to work with a site sponsor.

For heaven's sake, SOMEBODY must have put a set of Camoplast UTV, 18 tooth sprocket, tracks on a Daihatsu S83P Hijet with 4 speed dual range transmission. What the heck is the best UTV model to order so I can get the easiest track adaptation to my truck???!!!

    Please help!!!

I have a 92 Hijet and bought a set of commander UTV tracks at year end. they came off a Yamaha Rhino. I had to buy some wheel spacers and need to have the brackets bulit for the anti - rotation linkage and lift the front end a couple of inches. I had the rear lifted already. So not really a complicated process. Just need a break in the weather so that I can have this done. We just had a week of -30 temps and the little guy didn't miss a day's work.

I've had them on Suzuki and Mitsubishi. When I bought the tracks, I just ordered them for the heaviest UTV that they made.
Since there was no warranty (maybe now if they changed) i tried to overkill as much as i could.

I generally prefer Mitsubishi. What I strongly recommends that one should use those UTVs which are equipped with steel roll-cages and seatbelts and can be fitted with doors.
