LOL cool Thanks I hope I didn’t break any rules by posting the link . The other brand of track will be going on soon and the other truck will be delivered hopefully next week and then a few trials
we are hunting around for tanks, so the trucks can be used for methanol then they are going to be used to inject it in the pipelines

    half track?

Will these work with regular tires on the front and the tracks on back? I know that in snow you would probably want the tracks all around, but in mud and soft ground?

No i don't think so . from what I have seen so far the front needs the tracks due to the weight distribution. Mud or snow

How fast can you go before they start to wobble in the front? We had these same track on one of ours and could't go over 15 or so.

We are finding that it is a bit of trial and error, we had same problem. but now the support struts are tightened and en-lined. which we need to spend more time just getting familiar with the track system. we are up to about 40 km
Lol the other set of tracks are going on this week I think, I will keep you posted as to what they are going to be like. I expect these to be a bit slower as they are the Wider track different company

Is it possible to turn from a stop or low speed? That's a whole lot of surface area. :sly:

    Slow speed yes.
A stop..... you can but I wouldn't recommend it. It will load up the steering components, you have to be a bit more aware of the obstacles that are around you.

hmmm, I have a mitsubishi with power steering, it would turn a lot easier if the parts would take it? what do you think? anyone tried it?

What do you think about using these in a warm climate? I mean on asphalt/dirt/mud? What does it cost (ballpark) to replace just the rubber tracks when they wear out?

These are the same tracks we have on one of our trucks right now,and above 20 mph they begin to shake sideways. They are better than the other type you have tried and they will level out above 25 but they allow more snow depth. I myself have no use for tracks for the things i am able to do with tires.Let me know what you experience with them. Thanks, pepci

    They look awsome.

I have a set from my rhino. Do you know if they sell just an adapter kit to use with the minis?

I'm getting close to buying a mini. I love the rhino but the heat and A/C of the mini's is a huge bonus. :)

adapter kit are out there, but most of the stuff we are doing is made per the set of tracks that’s installed. Now that we have a bit of an idea which tracks we are going to use, we will more than likely fine tune the adaptor plates and have them professionally machined (save a lot of time with the right tools) this last set are the ones we will be using in the next stage of these builds
Remember to send me pictures with a short description. The pictures don’t have to be just Suzuki or just tracks send them all. I am in the process of updating the web page so it will look a bit better too
Ps nice looking rig bet its cold though :)

Track weight limits and lift kit requirements

A couple questions to those in the know.

What kind of weight limits do the track kits support? ATV's are about 600-800lbs Plus a rider, no real hauling capacity. The Mini's are about 1500 plus perhaps 2 riders and 800-1000lbs of cargo. Some kits seem a little more robust that the others. Looking to get a mini and put tracks on and would like more info on what works and what does not.

    Thanks,
    SS

Of the three brands of tracks that you tried, which did you like the most?
