Shot a few pics for you guys!

Today was the lift out of my truck and onto another mini (maxi).
He then placed it onto the deck outside my shop with the crane.

My powertailgate is a little small in length for the 7 foot long 1700lb lathe
And my gate lifts only 800kg max or about the same as the lathe, but I didn't want to take a chance of it ending upside down on the road.

This is my buddies truck, Awesome EH? It was $18,000 nice but not cheap.

About the lathe, you bet I can do little jobs for anyone in need when I get it set up, I'll be ready to do some machining of parts for trucks or whatever.
I have a milling machine too.

But I need a month or so, there is a job I need to do first.

    Steve

I had a little loading fun too.
I had a need for some timbers to cross a wash-out with the P-30. Found some on the side of the road after a certain operator spent some more of our tax dollars, in up-grades and improvements...I saved us some money by alleviating them of the need for disposal...:p

With the drought this year I finally got around to using the 275gal water tote I bought a few years ago. I wouldn't fill it up all the way but still would put a little over 200gals in it soooo....around 1600lbs. Seemed to work OK but then I never got out of 1st gear while going to the orchard.

i would never drive with it like that back tires to close to the edge and the front is touching but if it could be strapped down really well it had plenty of room between the tires and the fender to drive

nice tie down axle just wish my quad was about 3 inches less in length so i could close the tail gate then i would not worry about hauling it and tieing it down so much but as of now i would have to go tail gate down or half down but nice packing job in urs i still wise we could easily get those tire u have

im just gonna guess but from the pictures (and im color blind ) some of the wood still looks green or newer cut so i would so at least 800 to 1000 pounds with how much you have stacked on there but could be way less depending on what type of wood it is. but 700 to 800 i would guess as the least it has to weigh

I was using that sportsman in the spring of 2011 to check fields. Everything was flooded and wet so it worked better than the mini. Put a couple big dents in the rack on my cab though. Almost made it through my back window after a big pothole:p

I dug up another pic. I think I posted it on a different thread at some point but this looks like the thread to put it. Sled and mini are about the same length and no we had no where near this much snow last winter.

My tractor broke down in the deer woods about a mile in. Went in with Mini and a 4-wheeler trailer and pulled it all the way home in two wheel drive...

Don't have any pics of it working, but my '99 Carry gets a workout regularly on the farm. Best fence building/repair/utility vehicle on the planet. The biggest load I've carried was a 250 water tank. Had to haul water twice a day for cattle most of last summer when my ponds went dry. It was just about all the suspension could handle, but it did just fine even across open fields.

Just a little scrap metal work. Old pontoon boat. The scale read -720lbs so not that big of a deal really. Took me a while to figure out how it would all fit in one go though, for the 90km trip to the scrap yard. Back one-third went into the back of the truck, the other two-thirds went onto the boat trailer. Total weight was 3457lbs? Go figure. I guess that I had a lot of other shite in there too.

BTW, truck still did 110kph, no problem...
