Posted a few posts, but probably should have posted an intro first.

I recently purchased a new Subaru Sambar truck in Tokyo. I live just outside
the larger Tokyo area, but use the truck for hauling my bikes or for the
building work i am doing out on my land in Yamanashi.

I had actually been looking at a used truck for around $7000 which had
the supercharger, 4WD, central locking and electric windows. My wife is
Japanese and she did the comms for me. The dealer told her for a few
grand more he could sell her a new truck. I was stupid and did not ask
the questions I normally would, so ended up without the SC or central
locking or electric windows, still it was about $1500 below the list price
so not too bad. Might do some upgrades down the road.

    Here is a picture.

Welcome to the forum! Nice truck. Seeing those concrete ditch covers on the ground brought back lots of memories. Throw up some more pics of your area.

Nirasaki. There is a small track called Sportsland Yamanashi and i have some
land nearby. The Chuo is my "top speed" test ground for the Sambar :)
Beer can hill sounds interesting. Would like to try it some time but have
a race in late October so most of my weekends are tied up with practice.

The shutters are at the back of my office building. Not much to see there
    other than a concrete jungle.

But i`ll post a few images of Japanese countryside..........

    Out in Yamanashi
