Whats up with the head lights on the 93 trucks. I see some advertised as 93's with round head lights and some advertised as 93's with retangular headlights. Are these the the same year model. I'm confused.

The Suzuki's were available with aero headlights or round headlights during the same years.

Thanks for your reply. That clears up that question. Although seems like that would have caused tooling problem at the manufacturing facility, unless they built these trucks at different facilities. Just a thought.

1990 and 1991 DB51T Carry was available with round headlights only.

The new 1992 & up DD51T Carry was available with either the round or rectangular style headlights.

I come across older interesting posts, while searching for stuff, all the time...

This will really blow your mind...

The 4WD dd51t came in two styles:

    1) the square head lights with 5speed +EL (6speed)
    2) the round head lights with 4 speed (hi-low shifter)

I have never, ever, found an exception to this rule...

Maybe I was wrong. Seems like it's just too common an occurrence to be left to chance.
Maybe it's not a rule, but an intention?

If I was a betting man, that's where i'd place my hard earned cash.

Possibly some sort of option group? Of course a lot of trucks out there are "yard" trucks. 2-3 trucks put together to make 1 good one. I have ran into trucks with completly different parts than what should be there based on the VIN on several occaisions.

Kinda like some of the other options. Like passenger side air vents. The overwhelming majority I have seen have the blockoff plate and not a vent.

Passenger sun visor isnt always there, tray under glovebox is not common, lighted climate control, etc. Good times
