I continue to be amazed by people. A minitruck will do more work for less money than any North American vehicle on the market. Maintenance is about as low as you can get for a vehicle, the mileage rocks and insurance is peanuts. The only deal breaker for me would be if you are doing a lot of long distance driving with a load. Otherwise the minis win hands down.

i can think of a good 10 Reasons why i sold my hijet and got this.
But most of you dont care.

we have 2 other 4x4's in the yard. so i did not need one more. + i cannot fit my new quad on the hijet.

& i am going to buy a jumbo cab mini truck in the spring.

It's funny how I think the Rangers and Canyons are useless, but I love Kei trucks??? As far as a two wheel drive truck, I don't see the reasoning! I had one once and would get stuck on my driveway. If you bought it to haul your quad doesn't that mean that some of the staging areas will be off the beaten path? I can't imagine putting 900 lbs in the back of a ranger. After reading your initial post I checked online and found out that the payload rating is 1260 lbs. I really enjoy driving the Deck van but when I need to haul something my Duramax is the choice. I'm sorry if it sounds like i'm harping on you as you are the one who owns and drives it. From past experience for me I wouldn't feel comfortable hauling a quad for any length of time in anything less than a 1/2 ton. I hope your search for a jumbo goes well.

the Truck is used to Haul the Quad to the Hunting Camp or to the Cabins. I will not be Taking my new truck into the bush with my quad on the back.
& For when i Want to Go **** Kick a Truck in the bush. we have 2 other 4x4's in the yard!

& i am Going to ReBuy a mini Truck When i Get time. And $$$ & Find a good deal.

And i use to load a Fullsize quad and Dirtbike on my mini truck at the same time ,i did not think that was too safe lol!!

Hey Starpuss I hope I didn't come off like a jerk! I have owned a ton of trucks and for me my present one is my favorite. I'm sure when you bought your truck you researched the pros and cons so again sorry. Going from the Duramax to the Deck van is kind of culture shock. Loaded to bare bones, but I think thats why I like it so much. Simplicity. Enjoy your truck..
