Does anyone know if these would work without the lift kit? Anything smaller is hard to come by these days.

    Thanks.

Nokian makes 155 65R14's. They are winter tires but seem to handle well on dry pavement. We got our first snowfall today and really handled well in the snow although there was only about 2" on the road.

    thanks so much.

    I will check into that.

I'm sure that they would work but power loss is a big concern! I would try to keep as close to stock as possible. Any loss is a big loss when you have no power in the first place...

I am running 175/70/14's with no problems. Yes I have a little less power on the highway but the ride is worth it.

    awesome, thanks.

I can save tonnes of money then. I hope I won't have an issue on the van.

    thanks again:)

Any luck with tires? Got some used winter tires and they were even studed! They are WANLI 185/65/14's and I put them on some mid 90's dodge rally wheels I found at the wreckers (want to save my aluminum wheels for summer!). The 185's are the same height as my summer tires but the tread is about 1 inch wider. Still no problems with rubbing, will see how good they work when we get some icy roads here.

I managed to find some 13" wheels, as I had picked up some used 13' winter tires before.. they work just fine...

I was able to order some 14' wheels from Canadian Tire, but, having been there 3 or 4 times, no one knows where the wheels are...

    thanks for checking
