I originally posted this on ivoac, but thought it'd be pretty relevant here too. As a fellow minitruck owner, I'd love to see a couple more out! Here's what I said on ivoac: Hey everyone! I'd like to arrange a small (as big as it can get) meetup for Winnipeg/Manitobans! The meetup is a two-fold meetup. 1. To get to know other RHD drivers in the area, get to know each other and have a few laughs. 2. To get a group of people together to stand up to MPI to get them to accept JIS as a standard for 15-year-old and older vehicles. The DOT compliance in Manitoba makes no sense, and we need to band together to fight it. So, let's meet up June 7th, at 8:00 pm. We'll meet up at the U-lot at the university. That's the parking lot that's across the street from the new Stadium. Look for the red minitruck! From there we can go to Tim Hortons for coffee or Boston Pizza for 'cold ones' depending on what people are in the mood for. Looks like it's calling for rain today. Luckily we're all in cars/trucks. So, we'll still meet int he U-lot, but then shortly thereafter move on. Sounds like there'll be some <18 year-olds, so if we're not in the U lot, we'll be at the tim hortons at bison and pembina. rob

Missed Opportunity Sorry I missed the post about a Wpg Mini meet. I guess I don't follow this site regularily enough. I still need to take pics of my 93 mits for the site in the intro section. Mine can be seen driving around Crescentwood neighbourhood. This truck has definately become an addiction...
yeah I totally missed this one too and would love to have made it out. I stopped checking in here as there me and one other person here for so long. PM me and I'll forward my email address to ya. It would be cool to do one in the assinnaboine park next year.
