Hello everyone. I haven't posted too much here, but I have spent many hours over the last couple years reading here. I got the mini bug a couple years ago and bought a '96 Hijet...plain white, skinny tires, no lift, etc. Spent many hours studying here and got the thing serviceable. As luck would have it, I was offered a great jobnded up that required me to move from Houston to Oklahoma City. Sold the mini because I didn't think I would have any place to put it...ended up getting lucky and bought a place with a 1500 sq ft shop! Well, after 7 months of no mini I picked up a '99 Hijet today. This one is already lifted, nice wheels and tires, camo paint job, and most importantly, locking differential! I haven't had time to take pics of it yet, but this is one from the craigslist ad I bought it from... [/IMG]
Thanks Greg. I took it out yesterday with my 14 yr old boy to our deer lease. Took it everywhere! These things are a lot of fun and all the things you can do to customize them is a sport all it's own.
