Picked up a 2011 TT2 Sambar 4WD recently. Decided to add some after-market wheels and tyres and post some pics so anyone looking at going the same route can get an idea on tyre size. Live in Tokyo, by the way. Stock wheels Aftermarket 4.5" wide 14's fitted with 155/55R14 tyres Hankook or such. Offeset is 45mm. Another view With the 155/55 the ride was rougher than with the stock wheels. Also the speedo read about 10% higher. Decided i wanted more width and height on the tyres so.... Installed some 175/65R14 Dunlop Le Mans........... Much happier with the 175/65R14's installed in terms of looks and ride quality.
Will you consider shipping similar wheels to Canada? We will never get tire and rim sizes like these. Very nice..
The current exchange rate is bad, re buying from Japan. The wheels and tyres as a set cost approx JPY40,000 to me. That works out at approx $510 Canadian. Then there is shipping to Canada. It would seem to me they would be quite expensive by the time you got them. Are there no US suppliers with 14" 4.5" PCD100 4 bolt and 45mm offset wheels?
Since you are from Japan, do you know if there are any body kits that are made for the 90's Sambar van other than the VW conversion kit? I'd like something sportier..
What do the stickers in the front window mea I just bought a Subaru sambar 1993 in califoria USA and it has those
