New guy here just bought a Suzuki Carry and getting it all fixed up. I was just wondering if many on here have put the camo wrap on and how hard it is to do? I stopped by my local body shop and asked him about it, he said that he doesn't want to do cuz scared of screwing it up with all the creases and curves. Told me to get ahold of this guy that does race car wraps, but worried about the price he will quote.

So has anyone done this and how did it turn out. Thanks

    Hi archer109,

I've done one mini truck and one full size Suburban.

It is time consuming. However, the material itself (CamoClad brand) is very forgiving. It just does take a long time conforming the product to curves and espicially compound curves.

It took me one and a half days to do the mini truck. It took three days to finish the Suburban.

The finished product looks good and mistakes are usually very hard to detect unless you are looking real hard.

    Durability seems great so far.

Some of the guys on this board have done quite a few and are probably faster than I am.

You might want to try one of your local sign shops. I had one apply a flame graphics kit for me once.

  4. I prefer camowraps brand which offers more patterns. I have done quite a few trucks You can't be scared. If you mess up, it's not going to hurt anything but your wallet. I have an auction on ebay for a mini truck kit which is 4 sheets of camo. BEWARE of the permenat camo, as it is harder to work with and is meant for boats and marine use only.
