I have no mini truck but diesel engine interest me to the higher point...I wonder...if a neon 2.0l fitted with major mod worked for little digger then how a Volks Jetta TDI would fit?

I thought about a diesel, But I wanted something as quiet as possible.

I agree with the sound matter...but as you measured the space available do you think it's a possibility fitting one?

i proper muffler will quiet them out. mine is a diesel but hard to tell unless you rev when sitting it seems.

heck even with my big bus with the 7.3 idi diesel i pulled up to the pumps yesterday and buddy was 'gas or diesel'...

A diesel would be cool, and most every thing I have is diesel power. But the cold winter's we have some times are not diesel friendly !!! Even the newer engine's still have a bit of a rattle to them. I think there is room for any inline trans axle engine, mounted to the rear. I really had plenty of room for the 2.0, with the engine centered in the frame. Now ya got me wanting to scout the wrecking yard's looking at diesel FWD cars, Thanks' that's going to go over good with the wife.
