    advice-Purchase& lift kits 1994
considering a purchase of 94-ac, rear diff locks exterior looks good, what should inspect before purchase? evidently does not have speed limiter. What lift kit will work for this yr & model. I see many posts of lift kit woes &non functioning units. Only looking at 2" lift. Been very interested these mini trucks for a long time now. any and all advice greatly appreciated!

Ok im not sure about your other questions but on the lift DO NOT go more than a 3". I purchased my suzuki carry from a fellow who had a 4 1/2" lift on it and i have had nothing but popping, broken CV joints and ALOT of stress on my struts! So save yourself some money and just get a 2" then cut around the wheel well if necessary! Or if you just have money hidden in the corners of your house to spend....get a taller lift and make sure all the parts fit back together with ease and if not order extended parts for everything you can! ;) Good luck! Hope that answered a little of your question!

check all the vacuum lines for rot and cracks. you'll see from posts on here that vac lines cause a whole lot of varied problems

Just like buying any used vehicle common sense. Make sure it drives well. starts up nice, idles nice, shifts through gears nice, lights work ect. General looks tells you how well its been taken cared of. No blue smoke out of tail pipe. Listen for noise when turning left and right. When engine is cold it should start with a high idle and come down with increase of engine temp. Just me but I rarely but anything over 75000kms(45 to 50,000 miles). Ive done well buy staying with that number.
If you can spend the 50 to 80.00 bucks and take it to someone that works on Japanese vehicles and have them inspect it. That way they can or you can put it on a rack and eyeball underneath. Making sure it goes in and out of 4x4 and rear diff. locks.
If and when you buy one drain all the fluids and replace with new fluids. replace the air filter if needed. Dont try and match one up. Buy a original air filter(16.00 from king cobra mini trucks, ebay)
