what gear oil wt?

    what wt gear goes in the rear,front diff and transfer i changed to 90 wt and when its cold my 93 suzuki acts like its stuck to the ground when its in the 20s,after a little driving it loosens up somewhat

    My Hijet was the same as your truck in the cold weather. Last winter I changed all the oil in the tranny, diff's and transfer case to a synthetic. This oil was designed for use in Ag tractors and industrial equipment. Most of this equipment runs one common oil for the transmissions, hydraulic systems and differentials. The difference is unbelievable. You don't need to put the pedal to the metal to make it go. Even picked up 10Km in top end.

    second that....using 75/90 synthetic in all the gear cases and diffs will make a huge difference...At -30c my Hijet tranny is only a little stiffer than normal and within 3-4 minutes of driving all the stiffness is gone
