hey guys, I have a man who wants to purchase one of my Subaru's. Any idea what size tires and rims can fit on this truck with out hitting anything? Also anyone know the bolt pattern off the top of your head?
    Thankyou

    Lug stud spacing: 100mm

My favorite Smabar wheels/tire without mods:

Wheels are available from Ulmer Farm Service and same wheel has two sets of lug holes, one for 100mm (Subaru, 2000+ most other makes) and 115mm (Mitsubishi, Suzuki).

These wheels are matched with Winterforce 175 70R13 tires. Or any other 13" commercially available tire (which there are many to choose from, unlike 12" size).

Or put Carlysle 489's on stock rims (very baloonish). But I don't think he'll like them much as they ride like marshmallows, handling goes way down and they do occasionally make a rubbing sound in front.

jlil - are those 175/70R13s the same diameter as stock tires? I'm kinda concerned with my speedometer reading.

I installed the Crossroads Sambar lift kit. 1997 Nissan Sentra 13x5" stock steel rims (4x100 bolt pattern) with 175/70R13 tires (22.6" outside diameter) bolt right on with no issues. Handling is much improved. Camber is in some toward the bottom of each tire--not much worse than the old VW's and no big deal, since there's no alignment possible anyway--correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I had a set of original equipment Scion Xb steel rims bored out by a machinist from 54.1mm (Scion) to about 59.1mm (Sambar). Check that Sambar centerbore. I took an original Sambar 12" rim to him for exact measurement and the 15" rims unmounted (without tires). They're an exact fit with the 4x100 bolt pattern. I also am using the stock Scion 185/60R15 tires. There is just a hint of rubbing at lock to lock steering. The Sambar turns so sharply that you hardly ever turn that tightly anyhow. The little truck really handles and rides great now

No lift kit used at all with the Ulmer wheels & 175/70-R13's. They work just fine with no rubbing and no camber change. They are larger than stock, so to calculate your speedometer / odometer change you can go to a calculator like the one at discounttires.com and enter both sizes to get the result. Here's the link:

My tires don't even have a sidewall aspect ratio printed on them... they say something like 145R12. Weird-*** little truck. :D

My research say's a tire size of 165/65R13 is the same diameter as the stock 12 inch tires.
