big problem with my 1990 db51t.... i have the left rear wheel brakes seezed up. i had to drive it in 4wd to my work place and after being inside at 70f for 4 houres, no change still locked up. i took the wheel off and banged the brake drum but nothing changed, loosen the hand brake wire, no change, is there a plug i can open in the baking plate to release tension on the adjuster like used to have on gm pickup brakes. just to make it worst i just sold my ford ranger and need the carry to go to work any diagrams off rear brakes or any advise would bee very welcome:frustration: the brake drum becomes so hot the paint is starting to peel on it....

you'll have to remove the drum..most likely the wheel cylinder has seized, possibly a pinched brake line or broken brake spring jamming up the works..worse scenario a seized wheel bearing

Try loosening the bleeder screw to see if that relieves pressure on the brake shoes. This may or may not apply to your truck but I've noticed several Japanese vehicles with threaded holes in the rotors and drums near the center that bolts can be screwed into, to aid in their removal.

yes removing the bleeder screw may relieve enough pressure if it is a pinched line,to allow removal of the drum

I am needing some help. I just got a Cushman mini truck model number 898611 and it will not start. Anyone have suggestions or a service manual?

Well just to be honest your being really vague here, why dont you start by telling what you know about the situation first, like for example, is it pumping fuel, does it have spark on all the cylinders, is there any visual blockages or obstructions in the airbox, does it turn over, does it turn over fast or slow, does it act like it wants to fire and just cant.....etc...etc.... You provide some of this information and perhaps someone can help diagnose the problem.
