not sure if this goes here but im putting it here....we have a mitsubishi mini truck at work and we have a 5x8 trailer that we decided to turn into a 5th wheel here is some pics not quite finished yet
I've been kicking around that idea since someone here posted a photo of some show vehicle set-up ..Glad someone is doing it..keep it up..how heavy you figure it will end up being?
You should box it in and make a camper out of it... (Just no creepy pictures of your shitsu and a bottle of wine =)
Man. I was just talking with my dad how cool it would be to make a small gooseneck for the mini. I haul my 60" ztr mower to mow some property a few miles away on the back of the mitzu. I would also like to build a custom light weight flat bed too.
trailer should weight about 900 lbs when all finished..as for the camper idea i dont think it would work out to well as the truck is a show peice for a landscap company i work for....more pics to come of trialer as we finish it it will be all lettered up and have matching rims like the truck....picks of truck to come
ok guys it been a while but here is pics of trailer painted and ill have more pics soon with lights and pin stripping
goose neck Wayyyyy cool, Ive been thinkin of doing almost the same thing. How bout some pics of how you mounted the hitch. I was going to build a small tandem gooseneck as a tool trailer for when I work on my friends Top Alcohol Dragster at the track ( I like workin with my own tools)Thought i might use old boat trailer axels or princess auto specials. Im building one of my trucks as a tow vehicle with 4 seatsin the back (back to back with feet hanging over the side with foot rests) for the TAD, with room to spare for batteries tools and starter.
The hitch is just 2 peices of 4 inch angle iron with a chevy half ton tranny cross member welded between them then bolted to the frame with the bolts that hold the box on will post pics when I can
