Im thinking of selling my Subaru Sambar as i havent used it much and my carreer plans have changed. This is a 1993 Sambar pickup, 2/4wd 5spd with an extra ultra low first gear so its a 5spd plus 1. It only has 10,232 kms and is in excellent shape. This would be an excellent vehicle for landscapers/residential snow guys. Heres a run down on it. -4cyl 660cc -can carry 800lb payload - independent suspension -all sides of bed fold down flat -6.5x4ft bed with sides up -rhino lined this summer -2 inch lift kit installed this summer -delta work box installed this summer -front rebar reinforced and 2" receiver added -rolling on 14x6 ronals using 1" 4x100 to 4x114 adaptors -comes with stock 12" tires -comes with 12" winter tires mounted on factory rims -custom seat covers -new clarion deck w/infinity 4x6's -front camber is a lil out but that could be fixed with camber bolts, alignment was done after lift was put on optional brand new fully hydraulic 6ft poly plow $9,500 or $11,500 with plow selling as is but cant see it needing anything since its rarely been driven and was cert'd a year ago. Thanks for the comments guy's, if i didnt have such a hard time finding insurance for it i would love to keep it.
Nope. Ontario is quite an odd province. After moving here it now opens up ALL kinds of JDM vehicles with non-compliant headlights. Wheeee!!!!
Did not check for compliant glass, tires, nothing. Just the normal automotive stuff. I am NOT saying I agree with the fact they arent concerned about the non-DOT lamps, but I will take of advantage of it when ordering myself something completely wacky! I'm not too far from you Meesho. Only about 3 hours from Winterpeg. Send me all your non-compliant stuff on consignment
Oh, but insurance becomes and issue. WAY simpler less expensive in Saskatchewan, that is for sure. In Ontario many insurers wont even insure them at all. Others want extravagant prices. Here my coverage is more money for only liability than I had for full comprehensive in Sask. Also, the company would only insure my Carry if I gave them my home and other auto insurance.
Took a huge hit on it but needed to go to someone who could use it. He is already on here Longview i believe his name is. He and his wife seemed like good people and were pretty excited when it started snowing when they picked it up.
