Picked up a 96 last night from Alabama, made it home around 3 AM this morning & went to work at 6:00. Apparently the guy I got it from brother went to prison, & left it sitting for the past year. I picked it up for....$1,100!(asking $1,500)
    4x4, locked.

I think the guy was a little crazy though, the thing was missing every single bulb & a few fuses. He said it would start, but I didn't want to try until I was able to do a full fluid/ filter/ fuel change.

Anyone have any bulb numbers for me? I'm going to try & drive her around tonight when I get home. The main ones I need right away are turn, tail (same?) & headlight. I think I remember my carry being H4 for the front & 1156 for the rear. Any help before 5 est would be awesome!

Well, got her running last night. Ran like a champ. I stopped by NAPA on the way home to get my stuff & they had mini trucks in their computer!
I still haven't gotten any bulbs yet, so I didn't drive around too much. It looked like the engine had been rebuilt not too long ago, because I could see where nice clean white gasket maker squished out. I hope to have some pictures up Monday. I just need to find a good deal on some rims & tires. The ones on here look like old ford probe rims with street tires.

No, this is going to be built to keep at the hunting cabin, so it's going to get some ATV rims & tires. My goal is to build it right over the next year for function, not really looks, just keep it rust free. Next weekend I'm taking apart the bed & removing the interior to add some bed liner.
My dad is a retired welder, so he's going build some brush guards (need a tube bender first) & better protection for the underside. We're throwing the idea around for fabing up our own LCG/Long Travel lift. Still got some boogers to work out first.
