Some of you know and some dont know that I buy and sell farm/industrial equip. mini trucks, atv/utv's and on occasions I have know ideal what it is but it looks cool.
About 2 weeks ago I found a 2007 28 ft. aluminum trailer on a equip. auction site. I have priced these trailers in the past but never bought one because of the price tags. I placed a bid on this "Alumne" trailer that was sitting in Tampa.FL and was high bidder. I kinda low balled it and wasnt really thinking that I would come close to bringing it home to Austin. But the karma was with me. To my surprise when picking it up it turned out to be 102" wide instead of the 82" wide in the description. It was like kissing the first girl when you were 16 yrs old. So with this purchase I can get rid of my steel 35 ft, 20ft and 12 ft. trailers.
I pulled this trailer back from Florida running 70 and my mpg were only about 3 short of my 21mpg empty. Not sure what it weighs in at, I am thinking around 2k. The cool thing is that the gvr and the gwr are the same at 14000 lbs. by the manufactures tag.
This trailer belonged to a transport company and was rarely used so they said. It looks new, brakes are awesome with a double fold down ramp. Can you tell I am excited?
I would recommend one of these trailers to anybody that hauls a lot of stuff.

That is a sweet trailer! Hopefully if you sell your other trailers you will come out ahead or even. I dont like the white handrail poles with balls on top though....:D just kidding. I thought they were part of the trailer till I expanded the pic....

I could get 6 on my 35 ft. piggy back. I think I'll be able to get 4 on this one. I'll have to build a ramp for the first one then piggy back the other 3. Even if its 3 that will work. I am not keeping the inventory that I have been in the past. I'll still have access to a 35 ft. sister trailer of mine if needed. Anyone interested in a nice 35 ft. goose neck with two 7k axles?

  8. nice trailer Terry, since nearly every one of our trucks is delivered out of state I have been thinking about getting one of these Isuzu NPR trucks. I haven't driven one yet but I've looked them over and they look like they'd be awesome for delivering mini trucks.

Doug, Ive been on the hunt one of those NPR's. I have a client that needs one. Right time right place I believe you can pick up a pretty good early to mid 2000, 150,000 mile one for 4500 to 6500. I saw some at Ritchie Bros. Auction in Houston before I started looking for one.

those trucks are awesome. I actually had a cab custom made for my RC semi truck of one of those lol.

I hear some people build box covers on those trucks because they love the deck layout on them that much.
