I can think of about 2500 reasons 150...180 hp.....same to the butt-o-meter what is a busa gunna do.....spin the tars faster
modified the cradle and got the engine sitting in there with tack welds tilted the engine so the drive shaft shouldn't bind have to get a different drive shaft and work out the electric reverse anybody need some S80 engine parts(new in plastic)? I think the carb is NEW!!!! but some dirt from sitting with the float out.
Speaking of this sort of thing... Did anyone ever see the smart car with the busa engine? Looks like it turns like a boat & is pretty funny looking while it's doing it. I'm excited about following this build. Get some pictures up here dude!
these are the excess parts 2 1/2 carbs one looks new!!!! missing 2 main caps I have a pile of new 550 rebuild parts rings/valves/gasket kit/timing belt/cap and rotor/ wires/that insanely $$ fuel cut out solenoid/(i think the) CARB is NEW!!!!/pressure plate/clutch looks like it's for something else(different spline count) about everything except oil pump, and dizzy I have a list of the part numbers if anybody needs rebuild parts for a 550

better quality pics 5 of 6 mounts roughed in pretty solidly need some time to mod the counter shaft sprocket to a drive shaft flange super unfortunate.... only 2 TURBO S rims....
The drive shaft adapter at the drive shaft shop hopefully getting welded up real straight All of the engine mounts are roughed in and I'm working on the shifter linkage layout
I already cut a hole in the bed actually only a little bigger that the access hole today, I got about 80% of the shifter linkage built
engine cradle is getting a coat of paint shifter should work throttle cable needs some tweaking clutch is a bit of a problem need a part
yesterdays stupidity was.... nobody to help install the engine/cradle so I put it on a jack behind the truck and dead lifted the back frame rail to my chest then walked backwards over the engine and dropped the truck back is hurtin' today, some days you would think age=wisdom whittled the throttle cable end with a Dremel to fit the bike linkage
drive shaft custom piece at the drive shaft shop for 2 weeks....called today and they said it be ready by the time i got there....it was still hot it has a drive shaft now....sexy
I haven't been by to take pics....hopefully sat did drop by friends shop waddya think of FORD tractor blue $95 bucks total
driveshaft and bike adaptor installed shifter installed have new clutch cable and have to work out fitment still missing some bike parts found a set of 4 13 inch wheels....need to do some trading for them same brand, different pattern
still missing some bike parts so i'll probably start modifying the harness instead of buying good parts just for the wires/plug attached to them exhaust is mostly on shifter is good....using stock truck parts throttle is on....using stock(modified) truck part clutch is almost on...using stock truck part....I have to weld a part and a bracket or two to be able to use stock parts still looking at the coolant tubes for a match up looking like a Geo Metro part might work with a modification need to find out fuel pressure for the injection and get a pump a couple of switches and bypass an interlock an it might be very close to running and another lawn mower battery
