So, my day went from great to horrible in a matter of seconds.
Oil pressure dropped to... bad. Oil was spraying everywhere... looks like (*gulp*) from the head of the engine.
Anywhere in Winnipeg, or close to Winnipeg that knows ANYTHING about these.
I could live without the o_O stare right now.
    It's a 1990 Daihatsu Hijet. And it's awesome.

You should have seen how fast I had that engine off. I was actually proud of it. I had my friend in the truck and he didn't even know what was happening!
I was going about 60kph, clicked off the ignition and rolled into the parking lot of a shop (who will do the preliminary work, in case it's something small and simple, it's the speedy on Pembina, I've seen a sambar for sale there, and a daihatsu there before... for a bad situation it's not 10/10 bad)
There was still oil in the engine (leaking out of the engine) when it was parked.... call it a win.

I've been driving things like this for too long when the reaction time is that fast.

The Speedy on Pembina, just North of Bishop is awesome.
They have a guy there that actually knows his way around these things.
My problem turned out to be minor (I could have done it at home if it broke down there :p )
But, they really did it right. Clifford the big red truck is purrrrrring.
