Took the line off from the fuel pump to the carb. and every cycle of the fuel pump the fuel was shooting 6 inches each time. I don't have a gauge but just turning the engine over I figured it was enough.

My truck will rev up with no load. When it gets to fourth it really falls on it's face. It has almost 26,000 KM's and I have been talking to a man and he thinks that the timing belt is off by one tooth. I will be checking compression this afternoon to make sure it is fine, I wouldn't know why it wouldn't be fine but I wouldn't know why the timing belt possibly might have been changed out with that few of miles.

I'm not expert, but that doesn't sound right.
If it jumped a tooth...wound't it run like ka ka at all speeds including idle?
Wouldn't it jump and buck and kick and sputter??

    Just shooting around thoughts here

I would think that it would run ok at idle if you adjust your distributor but I just can't believe that the timing belt might have been changed with only 25KM's

checked compression and it is consistantly 148 o 152 . could it be engine timing off. it only has 26,000 KM's.

Anything is possible wouldn't hurt to check it..just remove the cover and see if the marks line up

Compression should be 160 at min. A good engine should be 170+

the compression is fairly even though.....maybe tight valves causing the low compression #s and also the poor power? maybe a bit of oil in the cylinders before the compression test if it brings the #s up the rings are either carbonned or worn..if no change than tight valves...if they are carbonned up a blast of seafoam into the cylinders through the plug holes and let it sit a while..can't hurt

Does anyone have a drawing or can explain how the timing is suppose to be on the S110P. I took the cover off and the camshaft has a green mark on it and there is a green mark on the block to match up but I see a white mark and a green mark on the crankshaft and I don't know where it is suppose to line up to.
