I have a u42t minicab mitsubishi that has no spark. I am pretty sure that it is the igniter assy under the distributor. I have been looking all over for this assy. but I am not having much luck. Does anyone know if there is a source for these or if some other igniter assy will work. Thanks for any advice.

If its a right hand drive truck try G&R imports.

    Dan?

Try Dan. He is a regular on this website, and has info on many Mitsu parts. Dan is "the man", as far as I am concerned, for Mitsu parts and info.

I hope you don't mind me referring people to you, Dan.

You have been a great help to me, so I just figured I'd pass that along.

Try the parts breakdown @ minitruckcentral too. If you can get a positive id on the part, use the part # at a local mitsubishi automotive dealership. There are also a few comparable engines in toro equipment that run the same distributor setup. I think its in the workman utility trucks from the early 90's. have you confirmed that its bad? I haven't ever had to replace one of those ina mitsu...

Pull the piece out and see if you can get a part number off of it , then do a google search for that part number, I did this yesterday on the Lefty Ignitor and came up with several sources for the parts.
