I finally figured out what I have. I is a 99 or 00 Supercharged, auto, all time four wheel drive. I just put a 2 inch lift with wheels and tires on it. Does any one have something like this? I have never seen another one for sale or any info on it. My question is about the wind sheild washer fluid resivoir. I can see it up next to the frame under the passsenger seat but how in the world can you fill it up? I have looked every where. Under the seat. Under the floor board mat. I can't find it. Anyone have any ideas? By the way, this is one running mini truck.:)

Wow. A 2000 SC...that's pretty much my ideal vehicle ('cept for the slushbox! ;) ). To prove it, let me dig into my vast archive of Sambar pictures. Have you looked behind the hatch on the sides of the dash? Looks like it might be access for something like that. See the picture of a 2000 Sambar below...I circled the area in red. Might be one on either side? :)

I can't offer an absolute answer, but I'm fairly certain you need to look under the left seat again. (Based on my '91) the filler under the cover on the dash right side is brake fluid. The radiator fill is under the left seat. Lift the seat, carpet (mine has snaps to allow access through the carpet), and the plastic cover from from the floorboard. Now you're looking "outside" through the floor of the truck and should see the rad cap, and also tucked up in there if you look carefully, is the ww filler cap. Good luck. Let us know what you find.

This is what's under the access panel in my '90 Sambar - the blue cap is on top of the washer fluid reservoir. I guess I wouldn't expect Subaru to keep the same exact components for another 10 years.

The panel you marked, is most likely the access to the brake master cylinder.

    I found it.....

It is under the passenger seat under the storage bay. I had to pull it our and it was there. I thought of doing that earlier but never would have thought it would be in a spot like that. Thanks.......

So, did it end up being in the exact same spot as the filler in my '90?

    Yep the same place..

I guess they haven't changed it in ten years. Radiator cap is right there too......

  10. Does anyone know what spark plugs cross over for a 90' Subaru? I pulled the plugs out and took them to the parts house and get the unwanted answer, No we don't have that plug or even a cross number for it. I got the oil filter there and I have an air filter coming from Chad. Any thoughts will help.
    Thanks, Mike

Sorry I don't know the spark plug number...

What would be could is if everyone with info on these trucks like all the filters, plugs, wheel bolt pattern, year model, makes, etc...could get all this info together and put it in a faq or tech section. This would save people a lot of heart ache and time. I know some of this info is available here and there but having it all in one place would be great. Anybody else agree with this?
