after doing some research Ive found more interest towards a Toyota liteace 4x4 truck. No they are not as small as the "mini trucks", but they barely exceed the length of my f-350's box, and that's small enough for me. I would not consider purchasing one of these vehicles unless they were diesel (for the fuel economy and low end torque) yet another reason for the liteace. I think with a good quality lift kit, tires, and accessorized in every way that i would want for hunting, it would be my perfect truck, and i could get great millage to the city of Vancouver where i work. It would be the coolest hunting rig for the bush aswell:D. !!! 1). Are parts in better circulation because its Toyota and its a larger truck or are they a little hard to find?!!! 2). Where is the nearest dealer to Vancouver BC where they deal with liteace 4x4 trucks?!!! 3). Has anyone heard of any issues with them that would be of major concern?!!!

-that's all i have for now, any constructive or !!helpful" input would be most appreciated thank you

well if you get a diesel get a turbo or get an engine bigger then the "2C" model. awesome city mileage but bit lacking on the highway.

Also being a torsion bar front suspension, not sure how easy it is to lift it really... I know you can turn up torsion bars but how far is the question... Id love to lift mine 2-3". Rears would be easy. normal leaf spring suspension.

Parts... its hit and miss. they are not as common as the mini trucks are now adays so some parts are easy to find like oil filters (once you know the right filter # over here) but i imagine some parts are terribly hard to find. Some parts from the Toyota van do cross over but finding those old Toyota vans and parts for them is seeming impossible.

Take a look through my thread of my Liteace - http://www.minitrucktalk.com/showthread.php?t=4611&highlight=toyota+liteace

Also any other questions give me a shout!

Hello, A low milage diesel with no rust is impossible to find. A gasser is another story. The parts arent nearly as easy to find as a mini truck. I would also say the parts are almost non existant compared to the 10+ dealers that stock Mini trucks parts.

    diesel

you know, i would think that you could mix and match sort of idea from lordco and other parts distributors. and use online catalogs and ordering websites. basic things like filters universals i guess would be rather simple to find. and like i said i thought you could mix match most of the motor parts and/or order online.

LiteAce/Mitsubishi Delica Truck 2.8 liter Turbo Diesel

Hi, we bring over the larger trucks regularly. Not a problem getting parts. Stuff99 I have that fuel filter if you still need for your truck-kinda lost touch with ya since I have been in Japan for the last 3 months almost. Check out the beautiful shape and low km Mitsubishi Delica truck I will have in Alberta mid June. 5 speed, hi lo range transfer case, powerful yet economical 2.8 liter turbo, same running gear as the Delica Space Gear vans which are everywhere. The pics are before we cleaned it up-still dusty from the one and only owner. About the same size as the LiteAce-rated for 850/870 kg I believe. Let me know if anyone is interested as it will go fast I think to the first person who sees and drives it.
