Horn?

I have an 1992 Acty Town pickup (HA4).. Just acquired it a month ago. All seems fine, so far but the horn doesn't work. My first thought was to check the fuses. Looked at the shop manual and none of the fuses are designated for the horn. I looked at the fuse box, to see if any were burned out fuses but all looked okay. Next I decided to check the horn itself to see if there were any loose wires. That's where I got stuck, couldn't find the horn. I know from other postings that it is (or should be, or might be) behind the place where the front license plate might go. I took off the cover plate and there was nothing but an empty space. I crawled under the vehicle to look behind the front bumper and could see nothing resembling a horn.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On my ACTY the horn is behind the bumper. There is a half moon cutout below the license plate area where you can look thru the bumper and see it mounted to the front of the truck. To work on it you have to remove the bumper. Pretty easy to do, there are 3 nuts in the front of the bumper(2 are in the license plate area and 1 is behind a small panel on the passenger side held on by a phillips head screw), 2 on each side above and below the lower door hinge and 2 under the front of the bumper.
