New guy from Wisconsin. i live and work just north of Madison on my familys 700 Milking Jersey cow farm. We run around 1,000 acres and all added up we have around 2,000 head of animal which includes the milk cows, replacements, and steers.

We have a 1991 Mitsubishi U42T Minicab. Its white and has a 5spd Manual, not sure what else to say about it. we use it for Calf Chores and a few other little things.

I came here because, i myself dont specifically know anything about them, or any small gas engine vehicles. I am a diesel/ heavy equipment mechanic, I can help you there, but when it comes to gas engines, all I know is that they have spark plugs.

I myself have a couple of other vehicles.

A 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 which is for sale.

A 2000 Jetta GLS TDI/5spd which has a few mods and is my daily driver.

And I have my 2003 GMC 2500HD 4x4 SLT Duramax/Allison which used to be my daily driver but is not just a pulling truck. The modifications list is very long on this truck.

Borg Warner AirWerks S472SX Turbo with ETT compressor wheel.
    PPE T4 Turbo Pedestal
ATS Oil Galley Feed for turbo
    ARP2000 Head Studs
    "C" Headgaskets
Modded FPR and Rear Cover on the CP3 Pump
    Air Dog FP150 Lift Pump
Eaton E-Locker in the front end
    Suncoast Stage IV Trans Kit
Suncoast 1055 Triple Disc Billet Torque Converter
    Autometer gauges watching things
Chrome Hummer H2 Wheels with 315/70R17 Bridgestone Dueler 695s for pulling
    Traction Bars
    The Rear Suspension is solid.
The Front suspension is as low to the ground as it can go.
    Single Stack Exhaust
And EFI Live tuning to make everything work together.

Last year at a local pull, I had 6 injectors fail and put 5 quarts of diesel in the crankcase, this caused the oil to thin out and wreck the bearings in the oil pump and the journal bearings in the turbo which let the wheels hit the housings. Since then I have rebuilt the turbo and sourced another oil pump, the injectors Im still working on rounding up $1,700 for a new reman set. We've been working on other aspects of the truck for now and the mods for this year are listed below, some are done some arent.

Gutted Interior with 1 racing seat and 5pt Camlock harness.
Weight Box instead of weight rack (sick of pitching weights)
    New Pulling Hitch Design
Torque converter lockup and unlock switches
And if we've got a few more pennies we might swap the 5" stack for a 6", replace the fuel tank with a fuel cell in the bed, and fix the front bumper damage with a complete Denali Front clip.

I do all of my own work on the truck including the tuning. I also do the trans and motor work, and have done a lot of Allisons and Duramax engines for others. I like rebuilding them.

The truck broke a lot last year. Right out the shop all of the rods bent. My mistake there, I forgot to back down the timing after putting the big turbo on. Also had a few tuning glitches, grenaded everything in the front axle, twisted driveshaft and then the catastrophe at the last pull.

The group I primarily run with is BTPA (Badger Truck Pullers Association) in the Super Street Diesel Class. I may make some hooks with BSTPA (Badger State Tractor Pullers Association) this year if I have the time.

    Anyways heres a video

Welcome fellow Cheesehead! I'm over just north of Waterloo so we're pretty close. I drove a Diesel Rabbit for about ten years but have been cruising in a '95 Golf 2.0 for about 13 years now. The only diesel in the fleet now is the little John Deere CUT. Good to have you here! Cool video too.

    Hello fellow badgers.
I too enjoy my 1991 Minicab 2inch lift 4x4 with custom winch and plow.
    Excellent truck. Needs some Tlc.
Smokes a lot. Hopefully valve guides.
I just keep filling the oil and checking the gas.
Looking to do a rebuild in the spring.
If anyone has a good mechanic in wi let me know. I would like to pull the 660 and do a full rebuild.
