    ok soo is this normal?
when the heat is on and blowing out of the cabin vents; the vent for the face blows cold air....
now it should blow hot air like the others.. but it blows cold like there is just a fan in there...
    normal?:sly:

    Yes.

Thats the way it is. Middle vents = no heat

But if your mini truck was a Mitsubishi then you would get heat out of all the vents, including the center.

    that is weird...
this truck is a weird design...
so i'm guessing its for fresh air?

it just sucks when it is a cold morning and you want hot air on you; only your feet are warm

You didn't state what kind of truck you have? I have a Honda Acty and it blows nice warm air through all the dash vents if you set the heater to the appropriate position. The heater is far better than I thought it would be.

my toyota only puts heat out for defrost and floor mode. dash vents = cool air only even if you have the heat slider up. also has center vents that are cool/cold air only. i fixed that though. when i did the stereo i used a few layers of duct tape to seal them for the winter!

Ya'll tell me. I just picked up a 95 Daihatsu that blows heat out the dash vents. Every other truck Ive had(Suz,Dai,Maz)
blew heat out the floor and defrost only. Maybe someone swapped around the vents in Japan sometime though the years ? Hmmmm. I like it.

My guess is that they changed it at some point. My 99 blows heat out the dash vents. Maybe 95 and newer??

I'm in the same boat. Heat coming from some vents, and cold air from others. Drives me nuts. Gets pretty cold up here in SK. Way too damn cold for my daily highway trips.
I am thinkning about pulling the front end down this spring and seeing if I can fix this or plug some fresh air intakes.

heat will only come out the floor and defrost vents on the older models. Vents on dash are for outside and recirc. of cab air only.

just pop your dash vents out and stuff an old rag or 2 in there to block the air..then run on 1/2 recirc so the winshield doesn't fog up...you may have other heating issues if you cant warm up the cab enough

  15. Most suzuki's only blow warm air out the defrost, it's annoying but it does get the cab warm

On my truck the outer most dash vents blow fresh air. The defrost and floor vents provide heat. What makes it suck is that the volume of warm ari is really low. It barely blows. I could yawn with more air speed.
