This is not truck related obviously but I thought some guys might like it. We now have both of the first two legally landed R33 GTRs (V-specs too) in Canada. The first came in during the first week of January and this one landed a few weeks ago and arrived at our shop yesterday. Got to love Nissan Midnight Purple. One of the greatest colors of all time.
We must have had one on the same RO-RO ship, as have already landed one of these to a client in BC...
I've heard these cars are shiat, I've never seen or driven one in person but would like to. The lab that did all of our truck testing said getting a cert to bring one in would be no problem but what the hell do I do with a vehicle that's all japanese and right hand drive. Can anyone confirm if these are as awesome as I'm told?
I've only driven a RB20DET Silvia, but, jeeze the thing was fast! My problem was, being a little fella, I couldn't see out of the car past the quarters, A pillars etc! Stupid aftermarket racing seats ..... I wouldn't be comfortable driving one around the city though, no visibility for me!
small world. there is one across the road from me right now. had to double look at the tail lights then i was like 'wow a skyline!'
I love those cars... and those wheels are perfect for it. Uhhhh, do so want. Never happen in the USA though unless someone was stupid enough to deal in graymarket. I'd love an EVOIII too. Oh, and a RHD Forseter STI. And a bajillion other cars that will never be legal in this country
