The 93 Suzuki has a larger dash than other models. For a tall guy like you it may be uncomfortable. Your left knee will likely rest on the dash.

I would sit in one first. Otherwise, the Suzuki is a good truck and diff lock is a nice option.

The Daihatsu has a mush smaller dash, these more leg room, but has soft suspension. (Upgrades are very common for the hatsu)

The other trucks all offer slightly more leg room too. Even the 1990-1991 Suzuki has more leg room.

After sitting in a few of them I realized they were all a tight fit for me, I'm 6'4 and 250lbs, that is how I ended up with my Jimny, not exactly a truck but still a KEI vehicle. I wish I could of tried the Daihatsu jumbo cab or even the one that looks like a mini van with the small box on back, not real sure what they call that model. I think either one you could modify the seat rails to fit you in.

I looked at a jumbo cab but the price was too high for me. I am 6'2" and was concerned about leg room as well. I opted for a Subaru and have not been sorry, lots of leg room. I also went for an automatic, with my long legs I did not want to be clutching all the time. For off road use the manual trans. might be better? The supercharger makes a big difference for power. Hope this helps.

The Subaru will probably be the only one you will truly be comfortable in due to its larger cabin. On the other hand, the subaru is hardest to upfit for offroad use.

    Craig,

Welcome to one of the best resources you will find in the mini truck community. Everyone here that has replied brings up excellent points about the trucks - some advantages and disadvantages. Unfortunately, the truck you have listed happens to be one of the smallest cabs. You will find a little more room in the mid-90's Mitsubishi's and Daihatsu's with the most cab space in the Subarus til you get to the later models. From about 1999-on across the board, the newer body styles offered a little more interior room (especially in the Suzuki's compared to old). From my experience, the "huskier" guys out there always prefer the newer styles to the older styles from a fit standpoint.

Jumbo's and Deck Vans will offer you the most interior space, but are much harder to locate and you will pay a price premium for units in excellent condition with options.

After doing a little reasearching and becoming an informed consumer, buy the most truck you can afford (meaning newest or best condition). I'll PM you with some tips the should be very helpful as you look at trucks.

There are many people here happy to help you with your education and eventually, your buying decision.
