Has anyone ever installed a set of fender flares on their mini? Let me know how hard it was and what you made the flares out of

Use that black/green flower bed border stuff from Home Depot, Walley World, Lowes. Couple different styles. Easy to cut, looks good and cheap.

Dont have any on trucks now. I got the ideal from Bull Dog All Terrain mini trucks. Go to www.bulldogoffroad.com and you can see it on the truck, front page.

Thank you, glad you like them. The fronts are from the rear of a Jeep CJ and the rears are from the rear of a Jeep YJ. Both required some dremel work, but I like the results. Purchased used on EBay.

I think they look the best I have seen so far, and it will be a long time before something else comes along to match!

Aeroshots can I ask what color you painted your truck please. I usually try and think for myself but I like your little truck as good or better than any I have seen. Mine would look great that color.

Well, there is no straight forward answer to your question. I had some paint left over from other projects and I mixed it up myself. 1/2qt gray, 1qt almond, 1/2qt dark brown, and a hint of silver to taste. It took a little more than a qt to paint so I have some left if I should have to touch up in the future. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the complement on my truck.:)

I know this is an old post- but how did you attach them? Just drill screws into the body of the truck, or use some 3M type adhesive (like the stuff for window ventguards)?

    Lawdog49,

I drilled and used very small stainless steel screws with washers. Also, I painted the drilled holes and used copper gasket stuff on each screw.

Interesting screen name you have. It would have an obvious meaning where I live. 10-49 K9???

that is about what i figured.

as for the screename, it really was derived from a favorite movie- Tombstone, and as one bad guy told lawman Wyatt Earp- "law don't go round here lawdog". and so, you can probably figure my profession:)
