Just curious if anybody outside of Japan has a Mazda Scrum? Even here in Yokohama I have never seen them…hmmmm. I was at the auction the other day and a man from England asked me if I’ve seen any today……took me by surprise. Well, no don’t believe I have. In 25 years nobody has ever asked me about a Scrum (Super Compact Reliable Utility Machine). For fun I asked the mechanics at our shop if we have ever had one? No was the reply. That impossible so I went to our database over the past three years and 1367 vehicles and not one Scrum. Not even one Mazda…..wow. Do they really exist?? Don (Having a bit of fun today)
I have two currently and just sold a 2000. I have one coming on my next shipment. They are exactly the same as a Suzuki. They are just rebadged as a Mazda. Mazda probably had an agreement with Suzuki to rebadge them as Mazda's so they could offer them to customers at there dealerships. Jeff
I had one come though the cracks with air cond. I took it to a equipment sale and sold it. Then I found out it was made by Suzuki. Should have kept it, would have brought more mojo on the retail side. Out of apox. 30 trucks thats the only one I ever had. www.traxandhorns.com
I am surprised that you havent come across any. Out of about 400 trucks we have had about 10 Mazdas. Like someone said- exactly Suzuki. Sometimes they go for a little less $ than a Suz, but the same truck.
ive got one, i dont even think of it as a mazda, i keep thinking it is a suzuki... its a round headlight truck...
Lil Squirt is a scrum. Mine has a extra low crawler gear when you engage the four wheel drive. It also has lockout hubs.
We've currently got one at the shop. Its the first we've ever had I believe. Its got refridgerated boxed bed too.
