Hi guys, I've been browsing on the old posts for bumpers and grillguards and visited just about every mini site I could find to locate a rear and front bumper with grillguard and receiver hitch for a 2001 Suzuki DB52T chassis. I found alot for up to 1999 models and only about one for newer models. Are these that difficult to find? Gung Ho has nice ones and I am waiting for a reply to an e-mail. Just thought I'd throw this out to see what kind of responses I can get. These newer truck front fenders are so low that I'm sure you have to do some cutting to get them on. I'm pretty sure the undercarriage is different than the 99 models too.

    Thanks

I have a call out to one of our manufacturers on this. The Brush Guard/Bumper market for these trucks has always been kinda slim. There are some very nice pieces out there, but typically they are pretty pricey. You are correct on the under-carriage being a little different. I just sold a 2001 Carry last week and it was nice to see a little more metal there to work with for front end customizing. It was also surprising how much trimming needed to be done to fit the 23x8 All Trails on the front.

If you're still hunting, shoot me an email and I'll let you know what I find out.

we custom build them for all trucks. We built the one on the cammo van on the website (not the truck :( ) Let me know if your intrested and I will get you some more info. I don't have much for pictures since we don't keep them in stock since we kinda build them to what you are looking for.

  4. I didn't get your email. If you mentioned any naughty words it probably got stuck it the spam filter. Here is a picture of the bumpers we make right now. They are "dog ear" in the front and straight for the back. We sell the bumpers for $325.00 but then you would have to add shipping and it may be better to have the bracket custom fitted to your truck.

G&R might have more of a production set up on the bumpers than we do. So they might be able to provide a lower cost bumper.

Good luck in your search. Thanks for considering Gung Ho Trucks.

Hi guys, Thanks for your help.

G.R. Mike, I saw your bumper but it's not quite what I want. I have fog lights on the front and a hood.

Bob, Gung Ho, I got a response from Steve saying they are for your custom trucks and couldn't help me. I saw you grill guard bumper on your accessory page

I'm looking for something like this.

  6. We bought the one you are showing in the picture from sombody in Texas and then added the brush guard. I searched ebay at the time and found it.

Maybe they are still available. I remember paying in the lower two hundred dollars total.

    Good luck in your search.

Thanks Chickendumpling, the fog lights came wth the truck but it looks like it's really easy to install. I have about six accessory ports for the toggle switch which you should too. Eventually I want to put some more on the back roof which I saw on another vehicle at the time I got mine. You can do so much with these little guys if you have the funds. I would like to get a new radio next, and a front bumper/grill guard but I'm not sure if I want to cut on my baby just yet.....I think yours is one of the newest models on this forum....How did you end up with that one?
