What does this thing operate? It is attached to a vacume line and it is adjustable.

Might be some kind of idle speed control valve... maybe.

What is the other end connected to? Does it AC? Could be a choke break or increase idle with AC on or decrease idle when engine is turned off.

Well, i'm not really to sure. It is adjustable, but i'm unsure if it is the choke control, or just the cold idle speed control...
Its connected to a vacume line, but i'm unsure of where it goes.
The truck does not have AC, so it rules that out.
I'll play with it and see what i can find out.

    Hello guys

This valve is a valve that is managing the trottle valve. The main reason for this valve is to let the trottle valve come back slowly. Iff you lose you trottle at once and this valve was not there, the possibility that your engine stall's is very great because of the very fast returning trottle.

i hope this helps ( and of course my englisch is that good enough that my explanation is ok for you guys)
