Is the bolt pattern for a 1994 Susuki 4x114.7 or 4x115 or 4x4.50 or are all these sizes the same. Is the ithe size for that year susuki. Thanks Ice
Rims on your '94 zuki are 4x115 mm for sure. They made a change to 4x100 mm but it was not until '96 [they had both patterns in that year - believe it or not] The Mitsu's use the 4x114.3 mm bolt pattern which is equal to the 4x 4.5" pattern but that will not work on your zuki.
Suzuki Bolt spacing The difference between 114.3 and 115 is: 27 thousandths of an inch or .027 inches All rims have 60 degree seats allowing for a max of .07 misalignment 4.5 and 115 have been interchangable with our rim company since the 1980's
Timetripper thanks for the help But now I am really confussed Jeds tire warehouse, Jed himself who claims the be the expert says that I need 4x4.5. I measures the center to center and they do measure 4x4.50. Where is your info coming from .Thanks Ice
This thread is what I based my info for your rim BCD here confirmed by multiple sources as 4 x 115 mm As for the debate about 114.3 mm [4.5 inch] rim used on a 115 mm hub ? The internet is full of info on it. here here here here here When it comes to rims, tires and brakes I would sooner err of the cautious side since I don't keep a lawyer on a retainer When I put the Kia rims on my Sambar I had the center bore machined to fit the hub exactly, even the guys at the tire shop were impressed at how well they fit. And the bolt pattern was the right one so when I take my Sambar out on the highway I know that everything is tiddly boo and no matter if I ever end up in a accident [my fault or not], the rim/ tire combo won't be a issue.
5 x 114.3 or 5 x 115? Sorry, didn't realize that you were talking about a 5 bolt wheel 114.3 which is not interchangeable with 5 bolt 115 wheel. Thought you were talking about a Suzuki Mini which is a 4 bolt wheel. Two completely different subjects, like comparing Apples to Oranges. By the way, Iceman, your wheel guy is absolutely correct.
Your Suzuki is 4 x 114.3 Most guys put on a 4 x 115 and grind the holes out a bit. Timetripper must be tripping again. The Zuks are not 4 x 115.
If you would read the articles a little closer they were comparing 5 x 115 and 5 x 114.3 whcich is what we are doing here comparing 115 with 114.3 BCD, just 'cause there is more or less bolts on the circle does not change the fact that the diameters of the Bolt Circle are different. All the concerns in those articles relate to the 4 bolt apps as well.
One more thing - how come all you zuki fans never corrected the info in the Sticky that I linked to? It's been posted by Mich Trucks & zbadboy on June '08, so it's been kicking around for 8 months and not one owner has questioned it or added to it. That seems really odd to me. Guess if you spent more time being constructive and less time being derogatory some one would have posted on it by now.
Need help here PLEASE If my 94 suzuki is 4x114.3 most people agree that they are the same as 4.50 If you measure the wheel it measures 4.50 center to center. Time tripper told me that would not fit. So I just bought 4 artic cat 4 wheeler rims that are 4x115 thinking that he knew what he was talking about. Now will these fit or not they are special order had to pay first. I found some 4x4.50 or 4x114.3 rims at the junk yard after searching for two weeks. And time tripper says they will not fit. Can anyone set the record straight. Thanks Ice
Sticky - Shmicky . I dont think I have read 10% of the sticky's up there. I will take it that your second response was aimed at me. Take it ease TT, nothing to get riled up over. Just a play on your name. Sheesh. Now people passing illegal trucks and headlights is something to get wound up about. BUT Anyhow, We pull wheels from the wreckers off Suzuki Swifts. They fit right on. http://wheels.customfastcars.com/find-your-stud-pattern.html#Suzuki 4x115 will fit with some minor grinding of the bolt hole, but will not bolt right on. But dont worry Iceman, many many many people do this "mod". Your arctic cat wheels are not a total loss. It will be alllllllllllll right.
Thanks for the Info. Am I right in the assumption that a 94 suzuki takes 114.3 and that 4x4.50 is the same as a 114.3 and that they will both fit. I want to get a some 13 inch rims Thanks Ice
I believe that is the case, yes. However there are others who do not share my opinion. Based on their comments, there are 3 bolt patterns. 114.3, 115 and 100
Thanks for your help I know its not a 4x100 i have a 99 and a 2003 Suzuki they are both 4x100 I am putting a micrometer on it now but they are vary close.
