Hey, I saw 2 mini-trucks on the road today. Makes me wish my Daihatsu was done!!! So unfortunately, I was driving my dodge, so neither mini-truck noticed me waving. I'm thinking, "Why aren't these guys on this forum???" One was a 97 or so Honda Acty with the same camo-spray liner my truck is getting put on. Going down the highway between Collinsville and Oologah. The other was on 86th street in Owasso: A good looking Hijet van. So all-in-all, I've seen 6 mini-trucks/vans in my area on the roads and not one of them is on this site! Drives me crazy because I'm never in a mini-truck when I see them!
I was driving thru the main road in Lawton with my wife. Had a couple of kids about 18-20 in a S10 Blazer pull up beside me wanting to know where I got my truck. They were so excited seeing it. Everybody looks it over. I thought that as much as I am in town it would wear off but it has not so far. I cannot think what it is going to be like when I get the camo wrap on.
Ya know, I drove my camo-liner sprayed subaru through town a lot and had some people really look, and others didn't even see me. Honestly, I don't like attracting attention and am not always in the mood to talk to strangers who are interested. Ha, but that's just me! Anyways, when I took my Daihatsu for a test drive for 2 days, (it being just plain white stock) I had waaay too much attention. And that is driving in the same town I've driven my subaru in for over a month now! So what I'm saying is: I think the white ones actually get more unwanted attention than the camo! This is just from my experience. Having the camo just narrows down the lookers to hunters/country/off-road folk. Having it white kinda makes everyone think it may be something for them.
