    Candace,

I'm very curious as to why National Mini Trucks (a.k.a. B & M Equipment) is operating under so many different business names (and so many different web sites), all associated to the sales of the same refurbished mini trucks. I've been in contact with several other people wondering the same thing and we would all like to give your company the opportunity to explain this to the mini truck dealers, consumers, enthusiasts, and community to clear the air.

B & M Equipment's products known as the Mini Hauler/Mini Runner/Mini Mate, etc., seem to be quite controversial on this forum, which you may or may not already know. It appears very alarming that a company with known quality issues would simply change its name while several of its other web sites appear as "Under Construction".

It seems that regular forum users cannot post replies in these sales ads. I would simply like to clear the air and hope that we can receive a concise answer on what is going on. You have a captive audience!

Thanks in advance for your reply.

  3. Hi Dan. Thanks for your question. I posted a response in another location but I will reply to yours as well. The reason for so many websites is as follows. B&M Equipment Corp. is the company that does the refurbishment in the Philippines. National Mini Trucks is the Distributor for these trucks in the United States. In Canada they are known as the Mini Mates, and we currently have 3 Distributors there that handle these. Yes there were quality issues in the past that have been resolved through many changes in the company. There has been a change of leadership and also the way the quality control is dealt with. If you look at the trucks that are landing now compared to the ones of the past, its almost like comparing apples to oranges. They quality is of a different caliber. B&M is happy to entertain anyone that would like to visit the plant in the Philippines. They actually would like for you to visit and see the refurbishment process first hand. If it was not a first rate facility, would they offer the visit? Many people have made the travel to the Philippines and they continue to have a lasting business relationship. When you can see first hand how these trucks are refurbished, then you can have peace of mind when placing the order.

It would please me to answer any questions that the mini truck enthusiasts have. I would rather have the correct information circulating rather then misinformation.

Thanks Dan for posting a question that I was glad to clarify for all of you.

can you give us some names and numbers of people that have visited the plant?

  5. I do not believe that it would be appropriate to give out their information on a forum. I would gladly let them know that there are curious enthusiasts that would like to know how the trip went. I do not see any problems with getting you in touch with them on an individual basis.

    Thanks

    Candace
