Leaking rear transaxle bearing

Left side transaxle bearing of my rear-engined Carry van is leaking gear oil.

I would like to know what type of bearing is this and how to proceed with the repair.

Is it possible to replace the oil seal only or the entire bearing set should be replaced?

Do I have to replace the right bearing as well though its not leaking yet?

How is it done? Is it just a matter of pulling the bearing or the entire transmission/gearbox is lowered and split open?

    TIA...karlo:)

I don't know about the bearing. You probably want the seal. Although it looks like the stub shaft is comming out of the diff. Maybe it just popped out of the diff. Check the other side and see if there's that much room.
