Throttle Cable is broke or stuck?

    Hello
I was driving my carry today and all of a sudden the throttle got stuck wide open but the peddle was limp like a cable broke. I checked the cable and I didn't see any signs of a break although the carburator connection point may have been stuck open and I applied WD 40 but the mechanism is so complicated I couldn't tell which lever needed to be worked out. If anyone has any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions please post them. Thanks

More than likely it has seized, or more unlikely, the carb linkage/butterfly locked up.

    Suzi cable

Is it frozen? I just had the same problem with my Honda. I had to take the cable off and lube it. I'm having the same problem with my clutch but haven't had the time to do it yet. That's this weeks project.
