In a manner of keeping peace, I am selling my 91 Daihatsu Hijet Jumbo. I can't believe that I am even doing this, I love this truck. But the woman wants a microvan. She has driven the truck and likes it, but she wants something small, but with a more inside room. I told her we would never find one in as good as shape as the 'little red truck'. I haven't even started to look at the vans yet. I know we can't afford to have both, a truck and a van. I am bummed, ready to just throw her out and keep my truck.
Well, with that being said and pretty much etched in stone, I am selling it with 3 sets of tires and wheels, the originals, the road tires and wheels and a new set of Carlisle All Trail and rims. I want to get what I have in it which is $5800.00. Here is the craigslist listing and more pics on photobucket, http://neworleans.craigslist.org/cto/917373786.html. I just want this over, so I don't have to see it in the driveway calling my name everytime I walk passed it. Oh well, that's it.

Why trucks are better than woman :D

Why trucks are better than women:

    - When you get tired of your truck you can trade it for a better one and still keep most of your possessions.

    - Trucks follow orders and operate for extended periods of time with minimal affection and attention.

    - Trucks don't mind if you drive another truck for a while.

    - Trucks don't mind if you have another truck just for "running around town."

    - If you're driving your truck too hard and something breaks, you can just get a new truck.

    - Trucks have a built-in radio with volume control.

    - Once you turn off a truck, it stays quiet until you turn it on again.

    - You can invite your friends over to drive your new truck.

    - You can use your new truck to pick up women.

    - Trucks never ask you what you're thinking.

    - Trucks never get jealous if you drive another truck.

    - Trucks give a much better return on your investment.

    - You can go anywhere with your truck, and yet feel free.

    - A truck will bring you where YOU want to go.

    - Trucks don't mind if you test drive them before you buy.

    - You can beat the **** out of your truck and not go to jail.

    - If you put your foot down it won't bitch about it for three days before agreeing to do it.

    - You only need to put gas and oil in a truck to make it work.

    - You can lend your truck to a friend and not only will you be willing to drive it again but it often comes back washed and with a case of beer in the back.

    - You can put your load in a truck and it won't follow you around for the next week.

    - A truck doesn't care how many other trucks you've been in.

    - To get a truck hot just turn the ignition.

    - You don't need to wear a glove to drive some one else's truck.

    - If you put gas in a truck, just smooth running. Try putting gas in a woman's intake valve and see how she reacts.

    - You can ride your truck in public without getting arrested.

    - When your truck is under repair you can use a loaner.

    - You can look under the hood without getting slapped.

    - If you have an accident in one, it's less expensive in a truck.

    - You can ride one for hours before getting tired.

    - If the seat's too big, you can swap it for a smaller one.

    - Trucks have big bumpers.

    - You can always find the door.

    - You can ride a truck all night.

    - When you put a truck to work it doesn't complain.

    - Once you've paid for a truck it's yours to sell.

Larry, I don't want to part anything out yet, the verdict is still out on whether I sell it or not. I am holding firm on my price sort of hoping it doesn't sell. If a buyer comes along, it will be sold. If not, I will keep it and drive it. I think a van would be great, but I still like my truck. Actually, I am trying to keep the truck and get a van. No hurry here.

Let's Make A Deal!!!. I haven't changed the price on Craigslist yet, thought I would make this available here first. I can lower the price, but it will only come with one set tires and wheels. The truck with just the offroad wheels and tires and lift kit; or the truck with just the street tires and slotted wheels. I can do this for $4800.00. The stock wheels and tires still go with the truck. Also I have a working radio on the way.

Dang, that is in nice shape. The dealer I bought my van from has a few on the lot right now. I know he ships quite a distance free, so if your truck sells and the wife demands a van, check 'em out if you want.... usedminitrucks.com

    Micro Van in Mississippi?

I have a Sambar registered with a tag for on-road driving in Mississippi. I didn't think the little vans were supposed to be tagged in Mississippi--like the trucks can be. Have you found out for sure that one can be registered for driving the streets?
