I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Minicab and the drivers seat is starting to come apart at the seams. I drive this truck every day for work and I get in and out a lot.

Has anybody found seat covers for these trucks?
Are the seats universal between the different manufacturers?

    Thanks,

    Chris

talk to an upholster ill bet you can get the seat redone cheaper than any seatcovers would cost if there are even any out there

Would like to hear about any seat recovery you have done or had done. How much? How long? and How well they turned out?

I haven't done anything about my seat cover yet as summer is my busy time. The seam on the driver's seat has ripped out completely now. I will bring it to a local upholstery shop in a couple of weeks to get them redone.

    upholstry work

A good upholstry man might be able to save the seam that is ripping. It seems to me that seat covers tend to move around a bunch, even if they are hog ringed, etc. This is especially true with the way you spin/slide your hind end getting in and out of these trucks. For my money I would re-upholster and have him put in a new pad while in there. Your backside will appreciate it.
