Hi everyone, there are many carb flooding issues here I have come across for the db51t engine. I just solved mine after much aggravation and wanted to let everyone know the cure. The newer fuel pumps and newer carbs do not take much fuel pressure. You need to restrict her fuel flow by inserting a restrictor into the fuel line. I used a 1/4 in grease fitting I cut and drilled and it worked perfectly. Car doesn’t flood anymore. Looks like the punp pushes the float open and floods the engine.
