There might be a thread already created, but there are too many threads to go searching through . So. Here's my question. If I put led headlights in my truck. Will I have to change all other lights to led ,or will they work with my old incandescent set up. Will the old set still work with the LEDs installed?

In theory, it should be fine as long as you don't put in something that draws more power than factory, and shouldn't effect other things.
On the other hand, putting LEDs in your headlights can cause oncoming drivers to absolutely hate you.... Make sure your headlight beams aren't too high or too scattered.

Really the only time you have issues with swapping in LEDs is when you put them in turn signals. Those usually need some extra mods to prevent hyper flash.

Then I don't have to worry I just wanted the headlights LEDs anyway. It's a lot of work to swapping from carb, to efi .I'm happy when I can just leave things as is ,and not have to completely have to change it. It being anything on the truck.

Thanx once again for your help

Your truck is probably wired switching to ground, as most jap vehicles. This means that your polarity will be wrong for LED head lights. To make them work, you would have to run new wires and another switch - big inconvenience. Search the net for LED headlight conversion harness which uses relays to do the switching and you will be fine. The harness / relays are not expensive, and there is plenty of room behind the headlights to mount them
