My 98 Hijet was missing one of the round bumpers that keep the sides and tail gate from banging on the frame. Quick trip to the hardware store a 2 pack of door stops later and she is good to go. I’ll get 4 more on my next trip to replace the rest that are rotting away. I may cut them down to be the same length as the originals. Will see if it annoys me or not if the sides and back don’t lay flat.
I made a slight change to how these mount to the truck. I picked up some M8 SS bolts, nylon lock nuts, and 40mmx40mm galvanized square washers. Should not have any issue with these unbolting due to vibration.
