I am looking for a battery cover for my Hijet S110P. I have seen a few covers for sale online for the S200/210. Would these work? If not, does anyone know where to find one?

I’ve got one on my S110P. Took a bit of modification because I have an oversized battery. It would have fit without any mods if I had a stock battery. But, l wanted more Cold Cranking Amps, and installed a slightly larger battery.

I made mine out of a sheet of Kydex I had kicking around. Cost me around $30 tops, though I had most of the stuff on hand already.

Bent it and shaped it a bit with a heat gun. Basically a rectangle the shape of the battery box, with wings on the top and sides. Bent the sides at 90 degrees so they hold pretty tight and then have some aftermarket plastic retaining clips going through a hole in the cover to the factory square holes on the sides of the battery box.

I installed a larger Napa battery and new clamps/adapters to mate with stock wiring. The battery is held down by two generic battery hold down j-hooks. One coming in from the left across the top front of the battery and hooking into the other that's going down the side and back of the battery.

  5. Do any operators have any idea what the torque spec is for the s110p oil drain plug?

    thanks,

    Cb

As of a couple of days ago, there were a couple for S200’s on eBay, for around $100, shipped. They looked pretty much identical to the S80, and S100 version.

And the battery tray and cover, are the kind of thing you don’t change on the trucks. The battery is the same size, the function hasn’t changed, and you can bolt onto the frame wherever you need to. So, smart engineers don’t reinvent it every time the series changes.
