Hello Acty community, brand new to the forums and in need of some help. Took on the timing belt replacement job and had a wild time trying to get the crankshaft pulley off. Got “creative” and cracked off a good chunk on the inner portion of the pulley where the AC belt goes. I have the pieces and am half tempted to try and jb weld and clean it up to health, but would really prefer to just buy a replacement. I’ve tried a few pages and am coming up dry inquiring about this pulley, would assume I need to contact places that have access to dead motors or junked vans, and this is where I’m hoping some of you have knowledge on where to reach out. Thank you!!! 1996 HONDA ACTY VAN/660-cc Engine/Standard Shift 4x4/2” Lift/ Right side drive/Every Day Driver/Surf Adventure Mobile/“The Purple Dragon Tim Wallace St Augustine, Florida www.therecognized.com
try here https://www.grimports.com/ they even rebuild engines their parts site https://www.grparts.net/Default.asp
I tried placing an order! Says it’s pending review and shipping quote prior to payment. Fingers crossed, thank you.
it will always say that. Basically they are reaching out to the honda dealer seeing if the part is available and calculating shipping then they will send you an invoice. Shipping is always expensive, just the name of the game. so try and group things you need because shipping doesn't seem to go up much with added weight. I usually keep a list then order all i need at once a year or two.
sorry I am too late to help. next time try the facebook group Honda Acty. or NW mini truck. there are many people in the U.S. with parts trucks now, and some junk yards. you can also order directly from japan with several site online. if you search for that on here they will show up. I don't think you can buy a new pully. edit , it is, japanese mini trucks of america on FB
do you have a part number? I'm seeing the one the is like mine, on ebay for $150, not paying that. but they are out there.
Hey Bert! Went through I believe 5 different Japanese parts suppliers and unfortunately came up short. As you mentioned, it’s not manufactured anymore so I need a used one. The part number I’ve concluded is 38921-PZ3-J00 any help would be awesome!
I asked on facebook didn't get a responce. You just need to push a little bit. ask more then once on all the groups. there are a couple of people who live in Japan that go out and buy stuff then shipp it. - Minny- https://www.facebook.com/groups/388160375758430/ is one of them, They don't have junkyards like we do, in Japan, only "newer stuff" in their dismantling shops. But you could try. I know you should be able to find one in the US. I seen (read) people all the time saying their parting a truck, or looking for a engine. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1491121737584558/ Acty group, lots of moding- https://www.facebook.com/groups/1702130876700807/ buy sell KEI - https://www.facebook.com/groups/253077185152668/
is this it? https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...tr_sl=ja&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=sc Minny could get that for you, and shipp. she adds "handling" and "going to get" and "packing" and people LOVE her for doing it.
facebook group Exporting AllthingzJDM ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/388...ecently_seen&multi_permalinks=563526068221859 )
Hey Bert, I’ve submitted a request twice to the FB group and have been denied access both times. Not sure what the deal is, if you’re already in there maybe you could help me out? I think because my account is new they think I’m spam or a bot or something.
exporting allthingzJDM lookes like it has gone to Waffles only. not much parts be shipped. I would not buy from her now, I think the money has gone to her head. try joining the other minitruck groups. I will ask around too. try grim https://www.facebook.com/grimports155/
Hello again everybody, really appreciating the support, thank you. Still on the hunt though if anybody has found any part leads or dead motors since I last posted. Thank you.
you can email jp-carparts.com or yokohama parts and they can look in the used market and ship it to you. Might be the most expensive crank pully you buy.
